On August 18th, 2014, a distinguished group of women under the guidance of a dynamic leader, Vivian Landrum-Clayton embarked upon what will become one of the most intentional investments ever to be made by the Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., the establishment of the Finer Pearls Foundation Inc. These extraordinary women, whose dynamic leadership was matched by their determination, fervent hearts, and desire to impact a greater population of the community at large decided to transform countless hours of service, innumerable educational accomplishments, an unbreakable bond, and every imaginable aspect of the human aesthetic into a charitable foundation. The foundation seeks to spread the greatness envision by our five illustrious founders; Arizona Cleaver Stemmons, Viola Tyler Goings, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Pearl Anna Neal, and Fannie Pettie Watts.

The Finer Pearls Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. The Foundation’s purpose is to provide scholarships to deserving young women and to be of service to others in the community. Through its fundraising efforts, the Foundation at the bequest of the Eta Zeta Chapter has awarded thousands of dollars to eligible young women seeking a degree at an accredited college and/or university.

Additionally, the Foundation provides educational resources to the Eta Zeta Chapter’s youth Affiliates. Our Archonetts, Amicettes and Pearlettes receive mentorship, guidance and educational opportunities throughout each year. We strive to provide community resources through Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated’s national program Zetas Helping Other People Excel! (Z.H.O.P.E).
